There are no free passes when it comes to paying highway tolls — just ask the Rockets' backup point guard.

Patrick Beverley missed the team's shootaround Wednesday morning after being arrested on an open warrant related to Beverley not paying $321 in fines and fees for toll violations, according to KTRK-TV in Houston.

Beverley was stopped by police in Pearland, Texas, on his way to the Toyota Center. He was driving on a toll road that requires an E-Z tag pass. He was arrested and then released after paying the fine for the Class C misdemeanor warrant. He came off the bench in Houston's 106-98 loss to the Nets on Wednesday night.

In a statement, the Rockets said Beverley resolved "issues related to his vehicle registration and E-Z tag pass" and "the team considers the matter closed."

Beverley had missed two games with a concussion. He scored three points in 8:53 in his return.
