2024 Olympics

It's time to go for gold on the hardwood. The 2024 Olympic men's basketball tournament will begin with the group phase on Saturday, July 27.

All conversations surrounding the competition start with Team USA, as the Americans are chasing their fifth consecutive gold medal. They last failed to win gold in 2004, settling for the bronze after losing to Argentina in the semifinal round.

A stacked roster is headlined by Olympic veterans like LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry, though it's worth noting that Durant has been dealing with a calf injury. Anthony Edwards and Joel Embiid are among the dynamic newcomers primed to make an impact for Steve Kerr's squad.

Perhaps the biggest threat to Team USA is France. The host nation's team is anchored by four-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert and 7-4 phenom Victor Wembanyama, who is coming off an eye-popping rookie season with the Spurs.

Stars abound elsewhere, too. Nikola Jokic (Serbia), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Canada) are among the All-NBA players ready to suit up and make a deep run.

Here is everything that you need to know in order to watch men's basketball at the 2024 Paris Olympics, including TV and streaming options for games.
