The injury bug has bitten the Raptors early on in the 2023-24 season.

During a late October game, O.G. Anunoby was forced to exit with an apparent leg injury. While the injury was not deemed serious, it did hold Anunoby out of the third game of the season, meaning his status moving forward is unclear.

Anunoby made a great impression to start the season, putting his two-way prowess on display in the first two games. Much of what Toronto wants to do is dependent on having a healthy Anunoby available.

What is O.G. Anunoby's injury?

The Raptors have listed Anunoby on the injury report with bilateral leg muscle cramps.

Anunoby began experiencing cramps in Toronto's loss to Chicago on Friday, Oct. 27. He exited in the fourth quarter and was later ruled out for the remainder of the game, forcing him to sit for the final seven minutes of regulation and the entirety of the overtime period.

With the Raptors slated to play the second half of a back-to-back set at home on Saturday, Oct. 28, Anunoby tested out his leg pregame, but he was later downgraded to out.

How long will O.G. Anunoby be out?

Anunoby was forced to sit out Toronto's third game of the season. His status is considered day-to-day.

After missing the Raptors' meeting with the 76ers on Oct. 28, Anunoby has been listed as questionable ahead of Toronto's game against Portland on Oct. 30. According to Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic, Anunoby "should be ready to go" against the Trail Blazers.

Toronto's meeting with Philadelphia marked the start of a three-game homestand. As the homestand comes to a close, Toronto will play in its second back-to-back of the season with games on Wednesday, Nov. 1, and Thursday, Nov. 2.
