Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets are just three games away from a first championship in franchise history.
Denver secured a victory over the Heat in Game 1 thanks to masterful performances by Jokic and Jamal Murray. Jokic finished with 27 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds while Murray dropped 26 points, 10 assists and six rebounds.
Those sensational stat lines put them in elite company. They became just the third pair of teammates to record 10 assists each in a Finals game alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen of the Bulls and Magic Johnson and James Worthy of the Lakers. They are also the third and fourth players to ever record 25+ points, 5+ rebounds, and 10+ assists in their Finals debut after Michael Jordan and Russell Westbrook.

Now, they'll look to extend their lead to 2-0 before the series relocates to South Florida.
The Heat now find themselves in uncharted territory. For the first time this postseason, they are facing a series deficit. But there is no quit in this team, as evidenced by a stunning Game 7 win over the Celtics less than a week ago after blowing a 3-0 lead.
Will Miami bounce back with a win? Or will Denver take another step toward lifting the Larry O'Brien Trophy?
