NBA FREE AGENCY: Derrick Rose 'open' to returning to Bulls
"It's funny how everything plays out in this business and in my life period," Rose said. "It always be twists and turns like this. I don't know how to feel right now. I'm anxious but shocked. It's [Chicago], man. That s— made me who I am, man."
The 30-year-old guard, who has spent the last two seasons with the Timberwolves, will be a free agent this summer.
Armstrong discussed the possibility of Rose returning to Chicago during an interview Monday with 670 The Score:
"I think we’re going to look at everything. We want to look at the situation," Armstrong said. "There isn’t a situation we would not look at because Derrick is still a very capable player. We’ll see what the Bulls have.
"There’s no secret. There’s no doubt that, in his heart, Chicago will always be there. We’ll see. I don’t know what the Bulls are going to do at this particular time. … If it presented itself, we’d be open to that conversation. We’ll find out in due time."
