Klay Thompson made his successful return to the court for the Golden State Warriors in their 96-82 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After 941 days on the sidelines due to injury, Thompson didn't waste any time, scoring the Warriors' first basket of the game and in the second quarter, he showed he was back to his best, taking it straight down the lane for the emphatic jam.

He finished with 17 points in 20 minutes on the night, much to the delight of the raucous Chase Center crowd.

"I was just happy to be out there doing what I love again, getting my rhythm back," Thompson told NBA TV postgame. "..It feels really good. It was special. I'll never forget this night."
