Khris Middleton came alive in the fourth quarter of the Bucks' 113-102 win over the Hawks in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals Sunday.

He totaled 20 points in the final 12 minutes. The Hawks managed only 17.

That scoring outburst turned a two-point Hawks advantage into a comfortable 11-point Bucks victory that didn't feel close in the final minute.

Middleton recorded a game-high 38 points while shooting 57.7 percent from the field. He struggled in the first two games of the conference finals, averaging 15 points on 33.3 percent shooting.

So, how exactly did Middleton heat up?

"Just finally got 'em to go," he said of his hot streak. "I've been struggling some with the ball going in the basket, but finally they started dropping for me at the right time. I'm thankful for that."

Certainly, the Bucks were thankful to see their second star emerge at the right time.

NBA Twitter was complimentary of Middleton's game as well. Many Bucks supporters, basketball fans and media personalities took time to praise his well-timed hot streak.
