The Hawks and 76ers are discussing a trade involving point guard Jeff Teague and center Nerlens Noel, The Vertical reported Thursday.
It is not known if other players and/or draft picks are part of the deal.

Teague, who will turn 28 on June 10, has been with the Hawks since he was drafted in 2009 and made the Eastern Conference All-Star team last season. This season, he averaged 15.7 points, 5.9 assists and 2.7 rebounds.
Atlanta also has Dennis Schroder, who has developed into a powerful asset. Should the trade happen, Schroder could ease into Teague's starting role.
Noel, 22, was drafted sixth overall by the Pelicans out of Kentucky in 2013, but never played for New Orleans. He was traded to the Sixers in a draft-night deal that sent point guard Jrue Holiday to the Pels. Noel averaged 11.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocks this season.
The Sixers have been rumored to be shopping Noel and Jahlil Okafor the past couple months. Noel's departure would open a spot for potential No. 1 pick Ben Simmons as the NBA Draft draws nearer.

Teague should be able to bring much-needed veteran leadership to Philadelphia, which also desperately needs a serviceable point guard.
