NBA trade rumors: Clippers to send Tobias Harris to 76ers in multiplayer deal image

The Clippers early Wednesday traded their leading scorer, forward Tobias Harris, to the 76ers as part of a multiplayer deal, according to multiple reports.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the swap involves six players and four draft picks:

ESPN's Ramon Shelburne added more information on the draft picks:

Neither team has announced the trade.

Reports of a deal broke about five hours after Harris made what proved to be the game-winning shot Tuesday night in Charlotte against the Hornets.

The swap was completed a day before the 2019 NBA trade deadline.

Harris, 26, averaged 20.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists while playing in and starting all 55 of LA's games. He scored 34 on Tuesday in what appears to be his final game with the team. He'll join a Sixers lineup that includes Jimmy Butler, Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and J.J. Redick.

Marjanovic and Scott, both 30, are expected to upgrade the Sixers' bench, although neither man played much for LA this season. The 7-3 Marjanovic averaged 10.7 minutes, Scott 14.2.

The Clippers add potential with the picks and Shamet, 21, a rookie out of Wichita State. He averaged 8.3 points in 54 games (four starts) for Philly. Chandler, 31, and Muscala, 27, saw regular action with the Sixers this season as well.

Los Angeles (30-25) is eighth in the Western Conference standings after Tuesday's victory, one game ahead of the Kings and 2 1/2 in front of the Lakers. ESPN's Rachel Nichols commented on what LA missing the playoffs after dealing Harris would mean for the team's draft this year:

The Sixers (34-20) are fifth in the East but just a game behind the Celtics and Pacers, who are tied for third.
