So much for Wednesday night's highly anticipated marquee matchups. Neither was much of a contest.
The Cavaliers cruised to a 126-94 win over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The Warriors then blasted the Clippers in a 115-98 victory at Staples Center.

New York's Carmelo Anthony took just eight shots and finished with nine points while Cavaliers forward LeBron James scored an efficient 25 points while going 7 of 10 from the floor. James continues to play extremely well at MSG. He averages better than 28 points in road games against the Knicks.
With the game was a blowout, James spent the latter half of the fourth quarter on the bench doing the water bottle flip challenge with Kyrie Irving. The Cavaliers guard was 4 of 6 from behind the 3-point arc and scored a game-high 28 points.

Wednesday's NBA schedule included 10 games and only three were decided by single digits. The Warriors jumped out to a 37-19 lead at the end of the first quarter in the nightcap as Stephen Curry scored 12 points in the opening period and finished with 19 despite going 0 for 8 from behind the 3-point line. Klay Thompson led five Warriors players in double figures with 24 points. Ten different players had at least one assist.

The Warriors led by as many as 26 in the second half.
Studs of the Night
Andre Drummond became just the second player this season with at least 25 points and 20 rebounds. The Pistons center had 26 points and 20 boards in Charlotte on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough as the Hornets held the Pistons to 38 percent shooting in an 87-77 victory. Kemba Walker led the Hornets with 25 points.

The Bucks used a triple-double from Giannis Antetokounmpo to carry them to a 115-107 win over the Trail Blazers. Antetokounmpo had 15 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists for the seventh triple-double of his four-year career. Each of those games has been in this calendar year as the "Greek Freak" is developing into a bona fide star.
Duds of the Night
Detroit's Tobias Harris scored 14 points against the Hornets, but missed all seven of his 3-point attempts. The Pistons were just 4 of 27 from behind the arc at Spectrum Center.
Magic forward Serge Ibaka was just 3 of 10 from the floor for only eight points in a 117-87 loss to the Celtics. Of the eight Magic players to take five or more shots Wednesday, only D.J. Augustin (4 of 7, 15 points) and Elfrid Payton (5 for 8, 10 points) shot better than 50 percent.
Highlight
The Lakers were beaten pretty soundly in Houston on Wednesday, but Lou Williams continued his hot streak. The Lakers guard scored a combined 78 points in the previous two Lakers games, both losses, and had a team-high 24 points in Wednesday's 134-95 loss to the Rockets. He also drained a 66-foot shot right before halftime.

What's next
Spurs (18-4) at Bulls (11-10), 9:30 p.m. ET — The Spurs have won 13 straight road games, which is already a franchise record. They'll look to extend that streak at United Center against Dwyane Wade and the Bulls. The NBA record for consecutive road victories is 16. San Antonio's next two road games are at Phoenix on Dec. 15 and at Houston on Dec. 20. Should they win those games, the Spurs could break the league record with a win over the Clippers on Dec. 22.
