This week's NBA schedule begins with the best day of the season: Christmas Day. There's no shortage of must-see games on Christmas Day, but matchups later in the week, such as Rockets-Celtics, provide plenty of excellent television.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Golden State Warriors
Monday, Dec. 25, at 3 p.m. on ABC
Another chapter in one of the league's great rivalries highlights the Christmas Day slate. The Cavs earned a 109-108 win last Christmas. The Warriors will likely miss Stephen Curry in this game, but Kevin Durant leads the still-stacked Warriors against LeBron James and one of the hottest teams in the league.
Houston Rockets at Oklahoma City Thunder
Monday, Dec. 25, at 8 p.m. on ABC
MVP candidates James Harden and Russell Westbrook face off in this marquee Western Conference matchup. Two of the league's best backcourts help make this the next most-anticipated Christmas Day showdown behind Cavs-Warriors. The Rockets currently lead the Western Conference, while the Thunder have had issues this year but are powered by Westbrook's 23.6 points per game.
Houston Rockets at Boston Celtics
Thursday, Dec. 28, at 8 p.m. on TNT
The leaders in each conference face off in this Thursday night prime-time clash. The matchup pits Chris Paul and the Rockets against Kyrie Irving and the Celtics in one of the league's best point-guard battles. If the Rockets can survive the Thunder and the Celtics in the same week, the talk will heat up about whether they can challenge the Warriors for a place in the NBA Finals.
