NBA playoffs: Rajon Rondo appears to try stomping Draymond Green in Pelicans-Warriors Game 3 image

Rajon Rondo added a new chapter to his feud with Draymond Green in Game 3 of the Pelicans-Warriors NBA playoff series Friday.

The New Orleans guard appeared to attempt stomping on the foot of the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year as he made his way to the bench.

The Pelicans won Game 3 119-100, with Rondo recording 21 assists.

Rondo and Green have gone at one another every game this series. In Game 1, they got into each other's chests after Green celebrated an and-one layup

In Game 2, Rondo tried to get under Green's skin by wiping his sweat all over the ball before a free throw by the Golden State forward.

Green seems to be trying his best to not let Rondo's antics faze him.

“[Rondo's] a competitor and I’m a competitor,” Green told reporters, per the Mercury News, after Game 2. “It is what it is."

Green went so far as to try to distance himself from the issue entirely after Game 3.

Rondo returned serve at the podium when told about Green's comments.

Considering the pattern these two have developed, fans are likely eagerly awaiting what they have in store for Game 4.
