NBA playoffs 2019: Rockets get overtime win over Warriors in Game 3 image

Houston got a big win Saturday.

The Rockets topped the Warriors 126-121 in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals, leaving Golden State with a 2-1 lead.

Houston was aggressive from the start and led for most of the contest. Every time the Warriors closed the gap, the Rockets seemed ready to pull away again.

James Harden led the way for the home team by scoring 41 points in the contest. He got a valuable contribution from Eric Gordon, who tallied 30 points and made seven 3-pointers on the night.

Kevin Durant was a nightmare for the Rockets and lit them up for 46 points after a poor shooting performance in the first half. He really poured it on in the fourth quarter and helped his team steal the lead briefly down the stretch and extend the game into overtime. Golden State fell just short.

But the Warriors got minimal production from their bench in the loss.

The Rockets will attempt to even the series up in Game 4 on Monday.
