NBA playoffs 2019: Doc Rivers says officiating was 'just not right' in Game 1 vs. Warriors image

Doc Rivers wasn't pleased with officials after his team's 121-104 loss to the Warriors on Saturday.

The Clippers received four technical fouls during the contest, and Rivers said the opposition got away with disrespecting officials. When Rivers tried to address his qualms, he was assessed a technical at halftime, which didn't sit well with him.

"I saw a couple guys on the other team cursing, yelling, pointing, yelling and nothing," Rivers told reporters after the defeat. "It's just not right.

"We have to be consistent. My tech by the way, and you can read my lips, I said 'all I want is consistency.' "That was what I got a tech for at halftime."

The Warriors, who had their own problems with referees as the regular season came to close, earned two technical fouls of their own against the Clippers.

But the first-seeded Golden State squad had home-court advantage and was able to hold Los Angeles at arm's length throughout the night.

Even still, Kevin Durant and Patrick Beverley were ejected after they both received their second technical fouls of the game for a fourth quarter spat.

Los Angeles likely can't afford to take on two opponents throughout this first-round matchup, so it may have to dial back on its interactions with referees moving forward.

Game 2 between the Clippers and Warriors will be Monday at 10:30 p.m. ET.
