J.R. Smith has a reputation of jacking up 3-point shots whenever, and it's a reputation he embraces. Some nights it doesn't work out, but Wednesday night it did.
The Cavs guard made 7 of 13 from behind the line on his way to 23 points. His accurate deep shooting led to the Cavs' 123-98 rout of the Hawks, and after the game a reporter asked LeBron James what it would be like to "play like J.R."
Would @KingJames like to have the "ultra-green light" he says @TheRealJRSmith has to shoot?https://t.co/Qzf6AAzy8B https://t.co/ONoxOJjdra

"That's almost a trick question," he said as he and Smith laughed.

James alluded to the fact that Smith is the only one on the Cavs roster with an "ultra-green light." Basically, Smith is allowed to shoot it whenever he feels like it, and he feels like it pretty much all the time.
J.R. Smith: "My teammates tell me to shoot the ball when I'm open. I feel like I'm open most of the time, so I shoot it."

If Smith continues to shoot this way for the rest of the series, the Hawks will have a tough time winning.
