The G League Next Up Game is back for a second season after debuting at the 2023 All-Star weekend.

Twenty-eight NBA G League players will comprise four different teams that will compete in two semifinal games. The winner of each semifinal will then meet in the title game to determine the event’s champion.

Last year, Team Luka (named for its captain, Luka Garza) and Team Scoot (Scoot Henderson) squared off in a singular game. Team Luka defeated Team Scoot, 178-162, behind a 27-point performance from Sharife Cooper of the Cleveland Charge. 

A revised format promises even more exploits in Year 2 of the competition, which once again touts some of the top young talent in the G League. The Sporting News has you covered with everything you need to know about this year’s G League Next Up Game. 

What channel is the G League Next Up Game on?

  • TV channel: NBA TV
  • Live streams: Sling

The 2024 G League Next Up Game will air live on NBA TV. 

Fans will have a variety of different options to stream the G League Next Up Game. The game will stream live on nbagleague.com, the G League app, the NBA app and the G League’s YouTube channel.

On top of that, fans can stream the game on Sling. Sling is the home for the avid sports fans, offering a range of sports channels so you an always cheer for your favorite teams with channels like ESPN, TBS, TNT, NFL Network, FS1 and more.

G League Next Up Game start time

  • Date: Sunday, Feb. 18
  • Time: 1:30 p.m. ET

The G League Next Up Game will tip off around 1:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 18. The game will be played at G League Park in NBA Crossover at the Indiana Convention Center as a part of the NBA’s All-Star weekend festivities in Indianapolis, Indiana.
