Off to a sprinting start, NBA free agency in 2022 was a buzz with a slew of notable names signing with new teams and players re-signing to big deals.

For example, Jalen Brunson is now a Knick. Bradley Beal, meanwhile, cemented his legacy with the Wizards by re-signing to a long-term deal.

But while there was a flurry of movement in the opening moments of free agency, there are still several high-profile free agents that remain unsigned.

Here's a look at the top remaining free agents by position.

Centers

  • Deandre Ayton, Phoenix Suns

Ayton is seeking a max deal and the Suns seem ready to move on from the 23-year-old big man after drafting him No. 1 overall four years ago. According to reports, Looney is expected to re-sign with the Warriors.

Power forwards

  • Montrez Harrell, Charlotte Hornets
  • Carmelo Anthony, Los Angeles Lakers

Harrell may likely re-sign with the Hornets but it is anybody's guess what Anthony will do as he enters the twilight of his career.

Small forwards

  • Miles Bridges, Charlotte Hornets
  • TJ Warren, Indiana Pacers
  • Caleb Martin, Miami Heat
  • Cody Martin, Charlotte Hornets

Bridges is a notable name; however, it is expected that the Hornets will pay to keep him in Charlotte. The Martin twins and Warren are wild cards and could be on the move this off-season.

Shooting guards

  • James Harden, Philadelphia 76ers

Harden is perhaps the biggest name that remains unsigned. Harden will reportedly re-sign with the Sixers.

Point guards

  • Collin Sexton, Cleveland Cavaliers
  • Dennis Schroder, Houston Rockets

The Cavs have to make a decision on Sexton, who is returning from a season-ending knee injury.
