The stage has been set for the 2024 NBA Finals: the top-seeded Boston Celtics will face the fifth-seeded Dallas Mavericks for the championship. The Sporting News has all the information you need to attend Game 1 of this best-of-seven series, including ticket prices, seat information, and more.

One of the two most winningest franchises in NBA history, Boston will be looking for just its second NBA Finals win since the end of the Larry Bird dynasty in the 1980s. Dallas, meanwhile, will be looking for just its second championship ever, having last won in 2011 with Dirk Nowitzki.

This championship series will certainly be star-studded. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will be joined by a dynamic supporting cast that features former Mav Kristaps Porzingis as well as Jrue Holiday, Derrick White, and Al Horford. Joe Mazzulla's Celts have been one of the best teams on both sides of the floor all season long.

But Jason Kidd's Mavericks are no slouches. Luka Doncic has looked like the best player in the world this postseason, and running mate Kyrie Irving finally seems to be at peace and ready to take back over the league. Trade-deadline acquisitions P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford have also been huge for Dallas, as has been the alley-oop duo of rookie Dereck Lively II and vastly-improved small forward Derrick Jones Jr.

This should be a fantastic series — and needless to say, a lot will be riding on Game 1 at TD Garden in Boston on Thursday. Historically, teams that take a 1-0 series lead in the NBA Finals go on to win the championship over 70 percent of the time!
