NBA Finals odds, Game 1 line: Warriors open as big favorites over Cavs image

The Golden State Warriors opened as substantial favorites over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 NBA Finals, listed at -260 odds to win the series (a price that requires a $260 wager to win $100). The Cavaliers opened at +220 to win the best-of-seven series, meaning a winning $100 bet would net a $220 profit.

The Warriors are a perfect 12-0 in the NBA playoffs and are listed at 7-to-1 odds at SportsBetting Dime to sweep the Cavs and finish the postseason 16-0.

NBA Finals odds: Game 1 line, total

In Game 1, set for Thursday, June 1, Golden State opened as a 7-point home favorite. It marks the first time all postseason that the Cavaliers are betting underdogs.

The Game 1 total is a lofty 225.5.

Both teams have been excellent bets so far this postseason. The Warriors are 8-4 against the spread and have covered five of their last six. The Cavs are 8-4-1 ATS in the 2017 playoffs.

The "over" has cashed at a healthy clip for both clubs as well. Nine of Golden State’s 12 games have gone "over" the total, including five in a row and six of the last seven. Cleveland is 9-4 O/U in the postseason. Neither team, however, has seen a total as high as Game 1's opening number.
