Stephen Curry fouls out, whips mouthguard, gets ejected image

A hazard of sitting courtside in a cut-throat NBA Finals — flying mouthguards.

Stephen Curry committed his sixth foul of Game 6 with 4:22 to play, resented the call, then whipped his mouthguard into the stands, earning a technical foul. That thing had some heat on it and even hit a fan. (UPDATE: RealGM.com reported the fan is Andrew Forbes, the son of Cavaliers minority owner Nate Forbes.)

Curry laughed it off and dapped up the fans. He finished with 30 points, but the Cavs forced a Game 7 with a 115-101 win. It was the first ejection of Curry's career and the first time he's fouled out since 2013.

"Definitely didn't mean to throw it at a fan," Curry told reporters afterward.

Meahwhile, Ayesha Curry, Steph's wife, thinks the NBA is fixed after seeing Steph foul out/get tossed. Here's why it isn't. (See this, also.)  She was fuming before the game, too, since she says the families of Warriors players were stuck on their bus until tipoff.

Game 7 is going to be a blast.
