The long wait is over.

The NBA Finals are finally here as the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat will do battle to decide who will be crowned NBA championship in 2023.

For the Nuggets, it's their first trip to the NBA Finals. Denver will look to make it worthwhile as they are four wins away from claiming the Larry O'Brien trophy for the first time in franchise history.

Standing on the other side is the unlikely presence of the scrappy Heat. #HeatCulture has carried the team from South Beach back to another Final and this time they hope to walk away with a chip.

Familiar voices will be calling all the action in 2023 with ESPN/ABC sending out its A team to provide play-by-play of every moment of the series.

The Sporting News has the details on who exactly is behind the mics for the 2023 Finals.

Who are the announcers for Nuggets vs. Heat on ABC?

ABC and ESPN's main commentary trio of Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson will be on hand throughout the 2023 NBA Finals. Breen is the main play-by-play man, while Van Gundy and Jackson provide color commentary and their often quirky analysis.

Breen has been calling games for ABC and ESPN since 2006 while also providing commentary for Knicks games on MSG Network. He is one of the most iconic voices in the league, and his signature call of "bang!" after a made shot has taken on a life of its own.

Van Gundy spent 11 years as an NBA coach with the Knicks and Rockets. He joined ESPN on a part-time basis in 2007 after he was let go by the Rockets before moving into broadcasting permanently thereafter.

Jackson spent 17 years in the NBA as a player, earning All-Star honors with the Knicks in 1989. He moved into broadcasting serving as the color commentator of the Nets on YES alongside Marv Albert. He also joined ABC as a national commentator. Jackson then stepped out of the booth and into coaching spending three years as head coach of the Warriors from 2011 to 2014. After his firing, he made the move back into broadcasting, re-joining ESPN in 2014.
