The 2022 NBA Finals are set as the Warriors and Celtics are set to meet with a title on the line. All games in the series will be televised by ABC.

Golden State is back in the NBA Finals for the sixth time in eight seasons, earning a trip back by defeating the Mavericks in five games in the Western Conference Finals. Boston returns to the NBA Finals for the 22nd time in franchise history but the first time since 2010 after eliminating the Heat in seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Not only does this series pit two of the league's most historic franchises against one another, but it also is a showcase of defensive prowess as the league's top two defenses take center stage — the Celtics and Warriors' defenses are ranked first and second, respectively. This is the first NBA Finals since 1996 to feature the league's top two defenses.

In addition to the defense, there will bee plenty of star power as Golden State's established trio of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson look to deny Boston's young star duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.
