The man, said to be in his early 20s, was taken to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. He was listed in critical but stable condition early Monday morning.

Oakland police were interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage as part of an investigation into possible foul play, a department spokesperson said. Police said it's believed the man was pushed by another fan as the Cavaliers celebrated their 93-89 victory on the court below.

A reason for the fight was not known.

Oracle Arena officials said in a statement the fan was attended to by medical personnel "immediately" before being transferred to Highland Hospital in Oakland.

One apparent witness posted about the incident on social media.

"Guy just fell from the second story at oracle right in front of me," Twitter user Josh Ober wrote.

"Not sure if he's ok but a swarm of people were yelling for a medic," Ober tweeted 15 minutes later.
