NBA Draft night marks the unofficial start of the league's offseason, and trades are always a major part of the proceedings. Teams work to improve current sent and future rosters as they exchange picks and players.
Sporting News is tracking all the deals announced Thursday at the 2018 draft in Brooklyn, N.Y.
NBA DRAFT 2018: SN's pick-by-pick analysis
1. The Hawks traded the draft rights to PG Luka Doncic (third pick overall) to the Mavericks in exchange for the draft rights to PG Trae Young (fifth pick overall) and a protected 2019 first-round draft pick.
2. The Hornets traded the draft rights to PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (11th pick overall) to the Clippers in exchange for the draft rights to SF Miles Bridges (12th pick overall) and two second-round picks.
3. The 76ers traded the draft rights to G/F Mikal Bridges (10th pick overall) to the Suns in exchange for the draft rights to SG Zhaire Smith (16th pick overall) and a 2021 first-round pick acquired by the Suns from the Heat.
4. The Hawks traded the draft rights to PG Devonte' Graham (34th pick overall) to the Hornets in exchange for a 2019 second-round pick and a 2023 second-round pick.
5. The 76ers traded the draft rights to SG Khyri Thomas (38th pick overall) to the Pistons in exchange for two future second-round picks.
6. The Kings traded the draft rights to SG Gary Trent Jr. (37th pick overall) to the Trail Blazers in exchange for two future second-round picks and cash considerations
7. The Magic traded the draft rights to F Jarred Vanderbilt (41st pick overall) to the Nuggets in exchange for the draft rights to F Justin Jackson (43rd pick overall) and a future second-round pick.
8. The Jazz traded the draft rights to F Vince Edwards (52nd pick overall) to the Rockets in exchange for cash considerations.
9. The Mavericks traded the draft rights to G Shake Milton (54th pick overall) to the 76ers in exchange for the draft rights to PF Ray Spalding (56th pick overall) and F Kostas Antetokounmpo (60th pick overall).
Two other trades were reported but won't become official until July 6:
The Nets traded G Hamidou Diallo (45th pick overall) to the Hornets as part of the trade that will send C Dwight Howard to the Nets; the Hornets then traded Diallo to the Thunder for undisclosed considerations.
