This year's festivities take place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. This is the first time in NBA history that the All-Star Game is outside the U.S.

In his All-Star finale, Lakers star Kobe Bryant led all NBA players in fan voting with about 1.9 million votes. Bryant announced his retirement in November and has captured fans' attention since. That's why we are hoping he gets to take the opening tip.
