The 72nd edition of the NBA's All-Star Weekend festivities is heading West for the first time since 2018.
Salt Lake City, Utah will be the host city in the 2022-23 season as 24 of the NBA's best players will face each other in the traditional Sunday showcase game.
The All-Star starters and captains have already been announced, with LeBron James leading the West and Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the East.
The 2022 All-Star Weekend was held in Cleveland at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Team LeBron won for the fifth consecutive season, defeating Team Durant by a final score of 163-160. The Warriors' Stephen Curry was named the game's MVP with 50 points on 16-for-27 shooting from 3-point range.

When is the 2023 NBA All-Star Game?

NBA All-Star on-court events will tip off on Friday, Feb. 17 and run through Sunday, Feb. 19 when the 2023 All-Star Game will be held.
As is the custom with All-Star Weekends, which are geared heavily toward the fan experience, there will also be events held at venues throughout the city, including the Salt Palace Convention Center and Huntsman Center on the University of Utah campus.
