NEW YORK — Playing for $30,000 in scholarship money that only one young NBA fan could take home, the Taco Bell Skills Challenge came down to the Rockets' Patrick Beverley and Bucks' Brandon Knight.
While Knight got out to an early lead, Beverley continued to go through the skills course at full speed and won out. Knight had trouble with the 3-pointer and Beverley finished up before him.

Beverley wasn't even supposed to be in the competition. A replacement for John Wall, the defensive specialist came in and stole a competition filled with quick scoring guards. Included in the field were Trey Burke, Kyle Lowry, Jeff Teague and Isaiah Thomas.
