Nancy Lieberman helped blaze a trail for women in men's basketball when she became the second female assistant coach in NBA history with the Kings. But her role on the team's coaching staff may not be very fulfilling at the moment.
In a USA Today report about how the team might look to trade the controversial DeMarcus Cousins this summer, there's a bit of information about Lieberman. According to the report, there's a lot of "in-fighting on the coaching staff" and Lieberman has been "unofficially exiled" by coach George Karl.

The reasoning is that she's seen as a "confidante" of lead owner Vivek Ranadive, who is under a lot of scrutiny over how he's handled the team.
