Montrezl Harrell stunned the NBA Twitterverse back in November when he chose to leave the Clippers and sign a two-year, $19 million deal with the Lakers. He must be feeling pretty good about that decision right now.
While the Lakers and Clippers both entered their Game 2s on Tuesday night facing 1-0 series deficits, only the Lakers emerged victorious. They closed the door on the Suns down the stretch behind superstar efforts from LeBron James and Anthony Davis, winning by a final score of 109-102.

The Clippers were unable to stop Luka Doncic and the Mavericks, losing 127-121 at the Staples Center and falling into a 2-0 hole. Harrell, who became a popular punching bag for Clippers fans as the team collapsed in the 2020 Western Conference semifinals against the Nuggets, appeared to laugh at the Clippers' pain in a tweet sent out early Wednesday.
😂😂😂😂 just gone enjoy life man!

What if that post was really just about enjoying life and had nothing to do with the Clippers? That's possible, right?
Well, that seems unlikely considering Harrell liked another tweet that read, "They really said [Harrell] was the issue on the Clippers."

It's worth noting that Harrell was a major issue in that Nuggets-Clippers series, as the Clippers finished with a net rating of minus-11.7 with him on the floor and plus-8.8 with him on the bench. It's also worth noting Harrell didn't play a single minute in the Lakers' Game 2 win, which leaves him open to a snarky reply from a former teammate.
But hey, he's on the right side of the Los Angeles rivalry at the moment. Let the guy lean into some straight-up NBA schadenfreude.
