It's no secret the Cavaliers have been in disarray this season, with stories involving injuries, passive-aggressive media comments and LeBron James' new wine habit following the team everywhere it goes.

Rumors continue to swirl about trades to acquire DeAndre Jordan and George Hill, but nothing of substance has come of those talks. Cleveland's players know something has to change soon, especially because the trade deadline is but a few days away.

But the pessimistic mood in the locker room must have certainly changed when a new name entered the mix: Montell Jordan.

While the singer might be best known for "This Is How We Do It," his presence could warrant at least a passing glance from Cleveland's front office. At 6-8, Jordan would be taller than more than half the Cavaliers' roster. His promise to average 2-1-5 would not even be the worst stat line on the team (shoutout to Ante Zizic). Plus, having a player with the last name "Jordan" on the team would help take pressure off LeBron.

It's up to general manager Koby Altman to decide if signing a tall singer with almost no competitive basketball experience is a good idea,  but considering how the Cavs' season is going, a veteran-minimum contract certainly wouldn't hurt their title chances.
