Mike D'Antoni appears to be feeling better.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the Rockets coach was released from the hospital Tuesday after his most recent series of tests showed enough improvement from the intestinal virus that caused him to be admitted Friday.
D'Antoni, who also dealt with severe dehydration as a result of the stomach flu, missed games against the Knicks and Suns on Friday and Sunday, respectively, in addition to two practices.
He is expected to sit out Tuesday's regular-season finale against the Thunder, though he could make an appearance on the bench.
In the meantime, associate head coach Jeff Bzdelik will continue to fill in during D'Antoni's absence.
With a win over Oklahoma City, the Rockets (53-28) could move past the Nuggets (53-27) for the second seed in the Western Conference behind only the Warriors, though Denver has two games remaining.
The Nuggets are at Utah on Tuesday and close at home against the Timberwolves.
