Beasley has bounced around — and out of — league play throughout his career. He most recently played 24 games with the Heat last season. The 27-year-old was recently named MVP of the Chinese Basketball Association.
The Rockets, Western Conference finalists a season ago, are 29-31 and clinging to eighth place in the conference.
