The first McDonald's All-American Game was played in 1978.
In the nearly 50 years since, some of the greatest players to ever pick up a basketball have appeared in the annual all-star game that brings together the best high school graduates in the country.
That includes Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Shaquille O'Neal, Kevin Durant, Paul Pierce and Chris Paul, to name a few. Many of them took home MVP honors, and some worked their way into the record books with their performances.
With that in mind, here are the single-game records for points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks in the McDonald's All-American Game.
