Max Kellerman got caught.

An astute Reddit user (/u/YaBoiMirakek) discovered that during a "First Take" debate on Monday, Kellerman attempted to cover up his fart by making an awkward cough. This observation led to over 45,000 upvotes and even reached the No. 1 overall trending post on the entire website.

The views counted from Reddit eventually led the video trending on the top 10 of YouTube. All because Kellerman tried to cover up his fart. Before we dive more into Kellerman's booty coughs, let's first watch the video.

NBA PLAYOFFS: Full bracket, dates, times, TV channels for every series

The same Reddit user also provided us with several timestamps of farts throughout the video.

Let's go through them individually.

3:06

Personally, I don't hear this one. I've replayed the scene over and over again, but my headphones just aren't picking it up. To be fair, YaBoiMirakek claims this fart is more of a "little squish" than a full-blown toot.

4:46

There's definitely a throat clear here. Was this to cover up the back-end blowout that was happening below? Maybe.

5:08

It's hard to hear over Stephen A. screaming, but there is definitely a noise emerging from below the waist here. You have to really listen for it with loud volume, but it's there.

5:11

Just three seconds later and we already hear another one. But as others on Reddit pointed out, this could just be host Molly Qerim saying "hmm" rather than Kellerman letting one rip. We may never truly know because the camera remains on Stephen A. throughout.

5:27

This is a very faint noise, but its presence is felt. Or smelt.

5:37

This now five butt horns within a minute. Maybe if it was one or two sounds you could pass it off as a weird noise, or Molly saying "hmm." But this is a man who is struggling. The air inside of him needs an escape, and there is only one exit that works.

5:50

We've reached the main subject of this entire post: The Cough.

Just look at Kellerman's face a few seconds before at the 5:44 time mark.

He's not looking at Molly.

He's not looking at Stephen A.

He's looking off into the distance. His mind is telling him no. But his body. His body is telling him he needs to get this bottom burp out. So what does he do instead? He lets out an awkward cough. A perfect disguise to never let the millions of viewers know what you just did.

Unfortunately it didn't work out for Kellerman as Reddit detectives discovered it and let the world know about it. Now, even more millions have watched it on YouTube.

UPDATE: Kellerman joined the "Dan Le Batard Show" Tuesday as the hosts on that show tried to get to the bottom of the story.

Kellerman denied the allegations. And when presented with the defense of, "Whoever denied it supplied it," Kellerman claimed it was a no-win situation for him.

But even more interesting is Kellerman saying he does not even hear the fart. So he's denying involvement, and possibly even denying the very existence of the fart in the first place.
