Mavericks vs. Timberwolves: Luka Doncic provides injury update ahead of Western Conference Finals Game 1 image

The Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves are set to take the court on Wednesday night for game one of the Western Conference Finals. It is poised to be a really good series between the five-seed and three-seed, especially with how the Timberwolves finished out game seven being down 20 against the Denver Nuggets.

With these teams having now played 82 regular season games and having played in two playoff series, there are some bumps and bruises. Injuries are starting to make a difference and one of those is Mavericks starting guard Luka Doncic who is dealing with a knee sprain tells reporters that "I'm good."

"I don't know," said Doncic when asked about how much progress has been made. "I don't know. We'll seet today, honestly. Didn't do much. Just a couple of things. All day, just rest and treat. That's about it."

Doncic will have his hands full against the Timberwolves, who are the best-defending team in the NBA. They have size and length across the lineup and if Doncic's knee doesn't hold up, that could give the Timberwolves a massive advantage.
