Kings forward Matt Barnes is wanted by the NYPD after an alleged assault inside of a nightclub early Monday morning, according to TMZ Sports.
Police were called to Avenue Nightclub in New York because of a report that a man choked one woman while assaulting another, along with punching a man who tried to intervene. Barnes, whom TMZ sources identify as that man, had fled the scene by the time they arrived.

TMZ obtained footage from outside of the nightclub shortly after the incident took place, but it's a little unclear what's going on. Kings teammate DeMarcus Cousins appears to be in the video and says, "Matt hit the s— out this n—."
Barnes was in New York as the Kings played the Knicks just a few hours before the alleged incident. During the game, the crowd chanted "Derek Fisher" at Barnes, poking fun at the couple's complicated relationship.

Fisher, the former Knicks coach and Barnes' ex-teammate, is dating Barnes' estranged wife, Gloria Govan. Barnes started a fight with Fisher at Govan's home last year, which led to a suspension. Barnes was arrested in 2010 on a charge of domestic violence against Govan, but the charges were dropped after Govan disavowed that Barnes was at fault.
