The Mavericks are in the middle of an important postseason push but have run into a potential injury setback to superstar Luka Doncic.

On March 13, Doncic was forced to exit midway through the fourth quarter of Dallas' win over Golden State after tweaking his left hamstring. While the Mavericks are on a four-game win streak, they are still in the Play-In Tournament range and need to continue to stack wins to move into the West's top six, a feat that would be much harder with Doncic sidelined.

The Mavericks are now set to travel to Oklahoma City to face the second-seeded Thunder on the second night of a back-to-back while Doncic deals with left hamstring soreness. Will Doncic be in action for Dallas' visit to OKC?

Here is the latest on Doncic's status.

Is Luka Doncic playing tonight?

The Mavericks ruled Doncic out for Thursday's game against the Thunder earlier in the day. He did not travel with the team and will not play, per NBA insider Marc Stein.

Doncic underwent an MRI on Thursday and the results came back "clean," according to head coach Jason Kidd.

He will be re-evaluated ahead of the Mavericks' game against the Nuggets on Sunday.
