The Lakers are in need of a victory right now.

Losers in six of their last 10 games, the Lakers stand at 14-21 on the season, placing them 13th in the Western Conference standings. They continue to be without Anthony Davis, who is sidelined indefinitely with a stress fracture in his right foot, and LeBron James expressed frustration following their latest loss.

"I'm a winner, and I want to win," James said. "And I want to win and give myself a chance to win and still compete for championships. That has always been my passion. That has always been my goal since I entered the league as an 18-year-old kid out of Akron, Ohio.

"And I know it takes steps to get there, but once you get there and know how to get there, playing basketball at this level just to be playing basketball is not in my DNA. It's not in my DNA anymore. So we'll see what happens and see how fresh my mind stays over the next couple years."

The next opportunity to pick up a win comes on Friday when the Lakers travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks, who are also 4-6 in their last 10 games. Which team will come away with the victory?

Are LeBron James and Trae Young playing tonight?

James is listed as questionable with left ankle soreness while Young is listed as probable.

James missed L.A.'s loss to Phoenix on Dec. 19 with left ankle soreness, but he's played in five straight games and Friday's contest isn't part of a back-to-back. Young sat out Atlanta's loss to Brooklyn on Wednesday due to a left calf contusion, but he was originally listed as a game-time decision.
