LeBron James has yet another stat that boggles the mind image

LeBron James has reached the point in his career where almost every time he takes the court, he sets a statistical milestone or passes a legend on an all-time list. He can't do much more to surprise us on the stat sheet. 

But behold this interesting statistical nugget, courtesy of ESPN: The last nine times James' team has lost the first game of a playoff series, his team has rebounded to win Game 2.

That streak dates to the 2009 Eastern Conference finals between the Heat and Magic. It also includes James' trips to the NBA Finals in each of the last four years, including last year's Cleveland-Golden State matchup.

As for those nine playoff series, James and his team won six of them.

If you're into more conventional basketball statistics, James reached another career milestone in Game 1, becoming the first player to rank in the top 10 in points, assists, rebounds and wins in NBA playoff history.
