Fans at American Airlines Arena were in the Christmas spirit as they welcomed LeBron James in his first trip to Miami since he left for Cleveland this summer.
There were some boos mixed in, but James was cheered as his name was announced in the starting lineups. Former teammate Dwyane Wade and James embraced before the game, as well.

The Heat also played a tribute video for James after the first quarter. After all, he did win two championships with the Heat in adddition to four consecutive NBA Finals appearances.
The only homecoming spoiler was the final score. Miami defeated Cleveland, 101-91. James scored 30 points and dished out eight assists in the game.
