The Cavaliers are entering their NBA Finals matchup against the Warriors with a ton of talent, which includes LeBron James. It's hard to label them as underdogs, but one team has to hold that title.

Since the Warriors set the NBA single-season record for wins, Las Vegas oddsmakers have made Golden State 2-to-1 favorites to win the Finals. Being the "underdog" is familiar territory for James, who is entering his seventh NBA Finals and his fifth as the supposed underdog.

Turns out James doesn't care much about the label.

James said being called an "underdog" isn't his concern, which makes sense, but it's interesting given his stance a season ago. The Cavs really were underdogs then, being down two key stars. But James was having none of it when he was asked the question, "Are you an underdog?"

"Huh? Underdog? Me? I would never be an underdog."

James was correct a season ago — he's not an underdog, and never will be. To him, being called one is an insult to one of the best players to ever play the game. It's just a label people like to stick on players or teams to build narratives ... and betting lines.
