LeBron James is a global superstar, as made all the more evident by his latest collaboration.

The cachet of the Lakers' 39-year-old star reaches far beyond the NBA, and far beyond the borders of the United States. He is one of the biggest names on the planet. And while basketball is his game, James is making his presence felt in other playing fields as well.

James famously collaborated with Liverpool — the football club of which he is a part owner — in 2023, working hand-in-hand to conjure up one of the more dazzling looks in the sports world. The NBA star and Premier League club rekindled their partnership Wednesday, unveiling their latest "LeBron x Liverpool" drops.

James and Liverpool stars Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez showed off looks from the collection on social media, highlighting the partnership between LBJ and LFC.

The threads take inspiration from Liverpool's traditional color palette while also featuring LeBron's signature logo and catchphrase: "Strive For Greatness."

With a colorway shaped by Liverpool's kits — decked in teal similar to that of the bird located on the Liver Building in downtown Liverpool — it's clear designers hoped to make a statement with this release.

The selection is highlighted by two jerseys: one is a basketball jersey, accentuated with a teal upper and "YNWA" (a reference to Liverpool's iconic anthem) emblazoned upon the chest plate. The uniform also features the famous crests of LeBron and Liverpool.

Meanwhile, the footy kit, which comes in a midnight black with a checkerboard pattern of squares and stripes, is all the rage across social media.

Van Dijk and his footballing counterparts were feeling the collaboration, even taking to the court to showcase their skillsets... with a plastic basketball.

The jerseys are priced from $60 to $90, depending on shirt size.

The wider LeBron x Liverpool collection includes T-shirts, a warmup top, a jacket and shorts. Liverpool players Andy Robertson, Alisson Becker, Ryan Gravenberch and Taylor Hinds modeled the accompanying outfits.

Fans can also get their hands on a pair of LeBron 21's scrawled with the cream and teal befitting of his beloved Reds.

The NBA's all-time leading scorer is also among its wealthiest players, with Forbes estimating James' net worth at upward of $1 billion in 2022.

Much of that wealth stems from his business holdings. James and his team have partnered with some of the world's biggest brands, including Nike, PepsiCo, Walmart and Beats by Dre.

James also has amassed nearly half a billion dollars in basketball earnings since making his NBA debut as a teenager. Given his impressive productivity in his 21st season, expect that figure to keep on rising over the next few years.
