Sights and sounds from LeBron's record-breaking night in Los Angeles

LeBron arrived at Crypto.com Arena in all black. He meant business.

Charles Oakley approved.

The hype for the moment began before the game had tipped, with all eyes on LeBron during warmups.

No better time to practice your skyhook!

The calm before the storm.

Los Angeles Lakers legend and the current all-time leading scorer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar made sure to be courtside for the historic moment.

Of course, LeBron had to get things started with a customary chalk toss.

With 7:04 remaining in the first quarter, LeBron got his first bucket of the night, draining the corner triple to a raucous ovation from the Los Angeles crowd.

It was a star-studded affair in Los Angeles, with a host of celebrities on hand to witness history, including Jay Z, Denzel Washington, Shannon Sharpe, Dwyane Wade, and LL Cool J.

Bronny and Bryce James were on hand to watch their dad make history.

Midway through the second quarter, with LeBron at the free throw line, the Lakers fans delivered MVP chants...and rightfully so as he piled up the points early.

It really did feel like every celebrity was in the house for LeBron's big night, with Floyd Mayweather and Usher kicking it courtside.

....and Grammy Award-winning artist Bad Bunny, who was repping Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar on his shirt!

Needing 16 points for the record, LeBron had to consult his son Bronny.

LeBron wasn't leaving anything to chance, draining back-to-back triples to get to within eight points midway through the third quarter.

HISTORY FOR LEBRON!!

In the final minute of the third quarter, LeBron created history, draining the fadeaway over Kenrich Williams.

It's a heck of a view from the top.

An iconic moment as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar honors LeBron James for his historic achievement.
