LeBron James seems to have just about everything figured out. He’s a future Hall of Famer with NBA championships and more money than most people reading this can imagine. But as teammate J.R. Smith and the Internet like to remind James, a consistent hairline is the only unattainable item for King James.

"I tell him you can't have everything,” Smith said in an extensive feature with GQ. “I tell him all the time: 'You can't have it all! You have to give up one thing, and it just so happened it's your hair.' If someone told me 'I'm gonna give you $600 million, but I'm going to take your hair,' take my hair!"

If it makes James feel any better, Smith took at jab at Iman Shumpert’s flat top earlier in the story.

When asked if he was pro-Shumpert’s hair, Smith laughed and said, “No, I’m not.” Smith seems to be a classic guy, with the lined-up, low fade, sometimes with a design mixed in.

Luckily for the Cavs, who lead the the Eastern Conference, pristine hairstyles aren’t linked to winning basketball games.
