Patrick Beverley has already switched teams once this offseason. Don't rule out it happening again.
Following one season in Minnesota, Beverley was included in the blockbuster deal that helped the Timberwolves land three-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert from the Jazz. Beverley's time in Utah could be short-lived, however, as Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer reports he appears to be a "strong trade candidate."
Two teams in particular interested in acquiring the veteran? The Lakers and Heat, according to Fischer.

Beverley started in 54 of the 58 games he appeared in with the Timberwolves, averaging 9.2 points, a career-best 4.6 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest on 34.3 percent shooting from 3-point range.
Beverley has earned three All-Defensive selections in his career. He didn't quite make the cut in 2021-22, missing out by four spots.
Prior to joining the Timberwolves, Beverley spent five seasons with the Rockets and four seasons with the Clippers. He's been to the playoffs in eight of his 10 seasons in the NBA, his deepest run coming in 2021 when the Clippers made the Western Conference Finals.
It's not a surprise that the Lakers and Heat, two teams built around stars that are looking to compete for a title, would be interested in Beverley's tenacious defense, 3-point shooting and experience.
Fischer adds that the 76ers have also been mentioned as a potential suitor for Beverley, but him going to Philly seems "unlikely" after the franchise acquired De'Anthony Melton.
