Fresh off winning the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament, the Lakers are back in action with a Tuesday night showdown against the Mavericks.

On Saturday, the Lakers capped off a dominant run through the tournament with a 123-109 victory over the Pacers, hoisting the first-ever NBA Cup. Anthony Davis flashed his All-NBA form with a 41-point, 20-rebound performance, and LeBron James earned MVP honors by steering the Lakers to an undefeated mark in tournament play.

The Mavericks will be playing the second game of a back-to-back, and they will likely be short-handed. Star point guard Kyrie Irving remains without a timetable to return after suffering a right heel contusion in Friday's contest against the Trail Blazers.

Irving and Luka Doncic combined for 58 points in the previous meeting, as the Mavericks outlasted the Lakers, 104-101, back on Nov. 22.
