Don't believe the hype. Kyrie Irving says he loves black women.

It seems like a trivial declaration to make, but that's exactly what the Cavaliers point guard felt he had to do in a lengthy Facebook post after rumors surfaced last week on several popular gossip blogs, including MediaTakeout, that he threw a "no black girls allowed" yacht party to celebrate his team's NBA Finals victory against the Warriors.
All it took was a short video and several still shots of Irving and friends (devoid of context) partying on a boat with no black women in plain view to give enough credence to a story that quoted a "former homie" as its primary source to certify him as an Uncle Tom in the eyes of many.
So, here we are. A little more than a week after the 24-year-old Irving turned in a historic performance in the NBA Finals and a month before he'll try to join Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and LeBron James as players to win an NBA championship and an Olympic gold medal in the same calendar year, he's defending his character.
