As the NBA's trade rumor mill continues to churn, Kyrie Irving is getting back to his roots.
The Nets star will be hosting the "More Than A Run" event on Thursday night in his home state of New Jersey. It will feature one-on-one contests and an All-Star Game, and multiple NBA players are expected to attend.

When is Kyrie Irving's 'More Than A Run' event?
- Date: Thursday, Aug. 4
- Time: 3-9 p.m. ET
- Location: Harwood Arena on Kean University campus (Union, N.J.)
The "More Than A Run" event is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, Aug. 4. The All-Star Game is set to tip off at 7 p.m. ET.
Irving tweeted on Thursday that admission will be free until 5:15 p.m. ET.
Will Kyrie Irving play in the 'More Than A Run' All-Star Game?
Irving isn't listed on one of the All-Star Game rosters, but his image was part of promotional materials for the event. (It's worth noting that NBA players can often change their summer plans at the last minute. Irving was reportedly supposed to play in a Drew League game on July 16, but he never showed up.)
