There are hundreds of injuries during any given NBA season, and many different causes.
Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving missed the majority of his team’s game against the Thunder on Sunday because bed bugs in his hotel room kept him from sleeping.

"It was honestly from the bed bugs from the Hilton that we stayed at," Irving said, via ESPN.com. "We came into the game and I was freaked out. I didn't get any sleep. ... Started feeling nauseous."
Irving officially left the game after 9 minutes because of what the team called “flu-like symptoms.” The Cavs went on to beat the Thunder anyway 115-92.
The Skirvin Hilton in Oklahoma City, where the Cavaliers stayed, admitted to the bed bug problem. Jessica Dustin, the hotel’s director of rooms, said the bugs were isolated to one room — the one Irving stayed in Saturday night.
“Unfortunately, every hotel at some point or the other has a case of the bed bugs,” Dustin said Monday night, via NewsOk.com. “We were fortunate enough that he did report it to us immediately."
Irving was back in action Monday night, scoring 30 points in his team's 96-88 loss to the Pistons.
