You may not be a 7-3 sharpshooter from a foreign land, but you can soon dress your feet like one.
Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis and adidas have agreed on the largest who deal ever for a European player, according to The Vertical, at a value between $3 million and $6 million annually — similar to deals signed by NBA stars Blake Griffin, Paul George and Russell Westbrook.

Nike signed Porzingis in 2012 to a four-year deal (that expired Oct. 1) when he was just 17. The shoe company has until mid-October to match adidas’ offer, but isn't unexpected to.
According to The Vertical, adidas and Nike are just two of several brands that were after Porzingis’ signature.
“All I can say is both Nike and adidas are first-class companies,” Porzingis said Wednesday. “I would be lucky to align myself with either one. The amount of attention I received was flattering, but right now I am letting my agents handle the business side of things.”
Before Porzingis can get a signature shoe he must meet several performance goals, such as being voted an All-Star starter. Expect the Big Apple sensation to wear adidas’ new high-top Crazy Explosive sneaker in Knicks colors on opening night Oct. 25 at Cleveland.
